National Mussel Recipe Contest Sponsored by Great Eastern Mussel Farms

The largest mussel farm in the United States is now looking for the best original recipe for fresh live mussels. Great Eastern Mussel Farms is offering a three-day Maine windjammer cruise for two people with "to and from" travel expenses during the summer of 2003 as the first prize for their winning "Great Eastern Mussel Recipe."
All entries will receive a coupon for a free bag of mussels.
Peter Egan, a former chef, trained at the Culinary Institute of America and on the sales staff at Great Eastern, will be the judge of the Recipe Contest. "We will select the best recipes and have a cook-off to determine the winner who will be picked based on the best tasting and most visually appealing original recipe for fresh live mussels," said Chef Egan.
The company reserves the right to republish the best recipes on www.eatmussels.com. Also, it plans to use the winning recipes in a second
company mussel cookbook. The first Great Eastern Mussel Cookbook was published in 1995.
